You know, it's amazing we spend an average 2,500 hours in school throughout the year learning great skills. Shift International have reached and inspired over 30,000 young lives in just over 5 years. Our vision is to reach 100,000 young lives by the year 2015 globally and be the leading provider of personal and professional development for teenagers.

Shift International helps young people empower themselves to create their own future as magnificent as they dare to dream. Our team knows that lifes biggest lessons often happen outside the classroom. The last two years have seen us presenting in a wide range of venues around Australia, sharing our own experiences and inspiring the young ones to dare to dream while giving them the tools and strategies to make it happen. We demand greatness from young people.
We believe that every young person has something special to give to the world and through inspiration, encouragement and support; every young person is destined for greatness. Shift is an experience! Good times and tough times. Laughter and tears. Energy and passion. Peace and reflection. Big dreams and tough realities. Support and challenge. Being heard and hearing others. New friends and great memories. We run events that ask the BIG questions. C'mon, you know the ones. The questions we all ask as teenagers and some of the oldies still ask today!
Our events are powerfully designed by young people for young people. We value fun, love, growth and providing a safe environment that is encouraging, very real and appreciative of differences. We boost young peoples self awareness of who they really are through great games, memorable stories, loads of discussion, steady-eddy steps and heaps of fun to encourage people to get out, have a go and dare to dream.
PROGRAMS
Shift Internationals presentations and programs are for young people aged 11 to 19 years. The core and heart of Shift International is our team of young people who run workshops, camps, social outings, community events and major events that help them learn, grow and finally make a contribution. Our youth development experience is structured to give young people the edge and meet their most important needs Emotional, Educational and Excellence. This is done by teaching them life skills for emotional success, giving them the edge with academic skills and making a shift in their attitudes and leadership abilities with mentorship.

WWW (Work Wise Workshops)
Work Wise Workshops helps teenagers with employability skills and inspires them to understand the importance of school.
Genius unleashed
Teenagers discover their personal learning styles and use them to their advantage in their everyday study. They learn specific advanced study strategies like mind-mapping, speed reading, effective writing, genius memory and exam skills. The results, improved grades. We also cover time management.
COACHING & KEYNOTE
Excellerate
Excellerate is a Mentorship and coaching program which helps teenagers empower themnselves to be accountable to their goals and accelerate their results by making and owning their choices as leaders so to achieve their greatest and highest potential in life.

The two day Get Real Experience which is our flagship program empowers young people with world-renowned inspirational processes to help them break through to new levels of inspiration, focus, energy, creativity and leadership.
Face the Real World (5 Day Camp)
Our signature program, Face the Real World, Master Camp is an amazing five day retreat with a twist! Young people decide how they want to play the game of life and apply the learnings to actual real life scenarios in all areas of life.

Colin Lee is an international speaker and an expert in helping young talent discover their inspiration and passion in life. He dedicates his life empowering young people to create their own future as magnificent as they dare to dream. Colin believes that everyone are geniuses with gifts to share and have an inspiring purpose to life. He is one of Australias leading authorities on young talent success and challenges.
Colin recently won the My Business Award for Best Young Gun in Small Business and named Winner of the Young Small Business Champion Entrepreneur at the 2008 NSW & ACT Small Business Champion Awards, with his company Shift International also recognised as Winner in the Educational Services category. He was also named finalist for Excellence in Community Contribution for the Hills Shire Excellence in Business Awards. He was one of three National Finalist in the Optus Award for Best Young Gun in Small Business.
He received a nomination in the Australian of the Year 2009 and 2008 awards and was recognised as a Finalist for the Australian Local Citizen of the Year 2008 and 2009 consecutively. With over eight years of experience in personal and professional development, Colin has delivered speeches, trained and coached well over 30,000 people in the areas of leadership, employability skills, speaking and presentation skills, sales and negotiation, study skills, self motivation, financial management, entrepreneurship and life education. He is frequently heard on radio and appeared on a few TV programs for his wisdom on teenage development and issues. He is also an author of many articles on youth related concerns in many magazine publications. He has since featured in SBS, Triple J TV, The Sydney Business Review, My Business Magazine, Fairfax Community Newspapers, Sydney Weekly and Succeed Magazine.

My vision for SHIFT International programs is to empower youth & parents to know their TRUE POTENTIAL and live BY CHOICE NOT BY CHANCE.
This also involves the lives of all those around them by being an example of whats possible. I believe our youth of tomorrow will be a reflection of our attitude & willingness to work with them so they get to the point where they TRULY BELIEVE in their OWN POTENTIAL to achieve their goals & dreams. This vision means, that by understanding the real power of personal development (our own personal power) & working in alignment with education, we can reach the fulfillment in life that we were born to live.
The life-changing programs for youth that l am promoting have already impacted dramatically on many students lives as you can witness from the video clip & testimonies. This is thanks to working with Colin Lee from Shift International who has achieved so many awards for his work they are too many to list here, however to know that he was nominated for Australian of the Year in 2008 may give you a clue to his ability.
My own personal development over a 10 year period has led me to want to share my learnings as a mother of 2 teenagers and the experiences & changes that have led me to BELIEVE in myself & my PURPOSE in this life. I struggled as a teenager at school to know what choices to make & feel that looking back l would have loved to have this information & support to enable me to understand my true power. I do not want my teenagers to have to search as l did & wait so long for the answers & truth about themselves before they can find fulfillment in their career & personal life. It is with this in mind l have completed a NLP Masters Results Coaching Practitioners course so l can work with people who want change in their lives at ANY AGE. I know it is NEVER TOO LATE to realize your dreams as this was once only a dream for me & using the principles l have learnt it has become a reality in my life. YOU TOO, CAN LIVE YOUR OWN DREAM WHY NOT GIVE YOURSELF PERMISSION TO TRY.
SOMETIMES THE BIGGEST RISK IN LIFE IS TAKING NO RISK AT ALL... The saddest part of a funeral is not always the burial of the body but is often the burial of the unfulfilled dreams.

I was introduced to Shift International at a group workshop with my financial team around the middle of 2006. There was a couple there who had not only attended similar self-development courses like I had they had sent their own children on many but the one they encouraged me to check out was Shift. All their children had attended The Get Real Experience in Sydney. I am always on the lookout for great resources for myself, for my children and for all my clients children.
The course sounded great and worth following up which I did. I am now honoured to say that three of my four children have attended TGRE while two have attended the FTRW camp. The youngest one can hardly wait to grow old enough to go. The impact of these courses of our family life and my childrens individual lives has been enormous. My youngest son, Mitchell who hasnt done the course yet, felt compelled to stand up in front of the parent group at the last TGRE to tell us all how he had seen his older brother change for the better at home. Overall, I was so impressed and excited that I wanted to invite Colin and his team to Canberra.
I was compelled to share this new-found course with my friends, my clients and the community that I joined forces with my business partner in Kumon to bring Colin and his team to the Capital. I am now very happy to report that 30 attended our inaugural event in March 2007 including six members of my staff. I have since witnessed an evolution in our workplace. It has helped them to genuinely connect with our young clients which enhances my business immensely. For them to know that even though they cannot control the circumstances they will find themselves in they CAN control their reactions to it. If you are considering placing your employees on any personal development type course DO NOT overlook this course! I highly recommend it to any employer of young people as it is a truly inspirational event in any young persons life and an investment in your business.

A charismatic personality well-known around the world after becoming a pop culture icon in recent years, Juan Mann first came to the attention of global audiences in September of 2006 when the groundbreaking "Free Hugs" video was uploaded to the internet and featured on the front-page of YouTube.com, the emotionally-moving clip has since garnished more than 30 million views worldwide.
The Free Hugs Campaign, a social movement involving random acts of kindness in the form of individuals offering hugs to strangers in public places, was started by Mann on June 30, 2004. Mann carried the now iconic "FREE HUGS" sign from the outset of the campaign and even today can still be found in Sydney's Pitt St. Mall offering Free Hugs most Thursdays.
After being met with international fame as a result of the YouTube video's success, through 2006 and 2007 Mann made appearances on Oprah, Jay Leno, 60 Minutes and CNN among other shows worldwide including a feature interview on ABC Australia's "Enough Rope with Andrew Denton". Mention of Mann's story also spread through nearly every most major print media publication and radio show globally with the Free Hugs Campaign now seeing hundreds of people giving hugs throughout the world, with "Free Hug Days" being held in France, China, England and across the U.S.
Mann has since earned himself an independent production deal and is in the shooting stages of what is to become a feature length documentary about donation, Mann hopes that the documentary can go on to spread global awareness about organ donation process and the desperate need for more donors in all countries.
Mann also has a passion in giving young people the best opportunities in life and works with Shift International to deliver the best programs and keynotes.

I think the most criminal act is the fact that this information, available through Colin, is not freely available to all kids and teens within the school system. We teach them English and maths yet do not explain how they can communicate and negotiate in the real world to create win-win situations. We dont teach them how its okay to be different and often this is the very point that becomes your strength in life. We dont teach them to find their true calling in life, the life that they would absolutely love to lead, and how to work each day towards that life until one day they realise they are living the life they love and contribute significantly to the world.
